Peaceful Plans Pty Ltd (A.C.N 691 896 312) trading as Peaceful Plans (we, us or our), helps you to find a provider of pre-paid funeral product and services, which may be right for you (Peaceful Plans Services).
A reference to you or your in this privacy policy is a reference to a client, potential client, agent or representative of a client, service provider or partner.
This privacy policy applies to all Personal Information collected, stored and used by us in the running of our business and delivering the Peaceful Plans Services. We collect Personal Information to conduct our business meaningfully and to provide the best possible services and experience to our clients and potential clients.

The primary purpose we collect and use your Personal Information is to deliver the Peaceful Plans Services to you in an effective manner and to run our business.

- To our Funeral Providers so that we can provide you with a Peaceful Plan Services. By using the Peaceful Plans Services, you expressly consent to the provision of your Personal Information to our Funeral Providers for the Permitted Purposes.
- To our third party contractors and service providers who help us to operate our business, and deliver and maintain the quality of the Peaceful Plans Services to you. This may include, our delivery, payment, accounting, legal providers, administration, marketing, advertising and financial providers.
- With regulators, government bodies, credit agency, fraud or crime prevention providers and where it is reasonably necessary for a legal purpose, dispute resolution process or as required by law.
- When directed by you or as notified to you by us at the relevant time.
We will not give your Personal Information to any other third parties without your prior consent, except for the Permitted Purposes, as required or permitted by law, or with your consent.
We do not sell or trade your Personal Information to others.
OVERSEAS TRANSFERS
Some of our service providers may be located overseas or may store information in server overseas, including your Personal Information.
Your Personal Information will generally not be disclosed to recipients outside Australia unless you expressly request us to do so. If you request us to transfer your Personal Information to an overseas recipient, the overseas recipient will not be required to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we will not be liable for any mishandling of your information in such circumstances.
HOW DO WE HOLD YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND KEEP IT SECURE?
We keep your Personal Information stored in both electronic form (using our IT systems or the IT systems of third party providers, as well as in paper form (when it is provided to us or prepared by us in hard copy).
We take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect and safeguard your Personal Information. The electronic and procedural safeguards we have in place to manage security risks associated with your Personal Information include the use of locked premises, password protection, two factor authentication and our payment gateways.
We will also only allow those who have authorised access to your Personal Information.
Unfortunately, no data transmission can be totally secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access to your Personal Information will not occur. Any Personal Information you provide us will be provided at your own risk and subject to the mandatory operation of law, we are not liable for events arising from any unauthorised access to your Personal Information. CAN YOU GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND CORRECT IT?
You have the right to request access to any Personal Information that we hold about you. You also have the right to request the correction to any of the Personal Information that we hold about you.
You can also take steps to keep the Personal Information we hold about you to be correct by providing the correct information to us and updating us when it changes.

We may ask you to complete a Personal Information request. Once a request has been made, the Privacy Officer will aim to contact you within 5 business days.
We will require you to satisfy identity validation procedures to prove that you are the individual requesting the Personal Information.
We may decline to give you access to Personal Information that we hold about you, if that would breach our legal obligations, waive legal privilege, adversely affect another person’s privacy or prejudice an investigation of a legal or regulatory nature. In these circumstances, we will notify you of the decision and reasons for that decision.
The process for access and correction of your Personal Information may also be available to you under the Freedom of Information Act 1991 (SA).

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We do not expect to make changes to this privacy policy regularly, however we reserve the right to do so at any time to reflect changes in the way we collect and manage your Personal Information and to accommodate for any changes required at law. Changes to our privacy policy will take effect when they are published on our website.
